Asphalt in our veins? Maybe not, but commercial roofing is definitely in our family. Spanning three generations, we have been in the trade since 1901. In Chicago, grandfather C.H. Wille (pictured above) hauled an asphalt kettle to the work site with a team of horses … then used the horses and a pulley to lift materials to the roof.
In 1967, son Chris H. Wille began Aksarben Roofing in Omaha, Nebraska and when he retired in 1998, the business was purchased by his daughter Barbara Simonsen and son-in-law Roger Simonsen.
Roofs have changed since the turn of the century. Today we serve the needs of our customers with state-of-the-art roofing technology but we hold fast to the integrity that has kept our business thriving all these years. In stride with current technologies
In the mid ‘70’s Aksarben Roofing helped introduce EPDM Rubber Membrane Roofing. We were the first roofing contractor in Omaha to install this new technology. We continue to explore new processes that benefit our customers.
